South Jersey Industries Awards $9,000.00 Grant to NJAC Foundation!

(Trenton) South Jersey Industries (SJI), the parent company for South Jersey Gas Company and Elizabethtown Gas Company, has awarded the NJAC Foundation a grant of $9,000.00 for county vocational-technical school graduates who plan on continuing their education in New Jersey at a county college or state college or university in the fall.

“On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the NJAC Foundation, I’m thrilled that SJI has awarded the Foundation this generous grant; and, I look forward to working with our county vocational-technical schools in selecting scholarship winners committed to advancing their education in the great State of New Jersey,” commented NJAC Foundation President Heather Simmons.

Pursuant to the grant, the NJAC Foundation will award (9) scholarships of $1,000.00 each to students in the following counties: Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Union, Middlesex, and Salem.
