On November 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) hosted a free virtual workshop titled, An Overview of the Opioid Settlements. This joint presentation by leadership in the New Jersey Division of Law and Department of Human Services, provided a comprehensive overview of the $641.0 million in opioid settlement funds paid to the State and local governments through 2038 and of which included recommendations on the treatment, prevention and other strategies to combat the opioid epidemic.
