The New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) presented Vital Public Health Services Provided by County LINCS Health Officers in recognition of National Public Health Week and in the furtherance of public health preparedness through the LINCS structure comprised of all 21 counties and the City of Newark. In summary, this workshop provides a comprehensive overview on how the county LINCS health officers proactively serve the public health, safety, and welfare of residents across the Garden State through disease prevention and surveillance, immunizations, lead abatement, cancer screening, natural disasters, data collection, health promotion, environmental protection, and much more.
