Virtual Workshop – No Wrong Door: Addressing Food Insecurity Through County Government

The New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) is pleased to present a discussion on NO WRONG DOOR: ADDRESSING FOOD INSECURITY THROUGH COUNTY GOVERNMENT as the first in a series of free virtual workshops NJAC will host in 2025 on a variety of topics that affect county governments across the State. This session will focus on the formation of the Bergen County Office of Food Security, which bolstered pantry resources including sustainability grant programs and a lunch and learn series. The session will also discuss the integration of services and Oasis Insights that track overall people served, direct referrals, and data collection. The presentation will showcase how county commissioners leading, advocating, and supporting these coalitions greatly increases the opportunities for growth and success.
