NJAC Virtual Workshop Series – Protection Against Climate Threat (PACT)/Resilient Environments and Landscape (REAL)

The New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) is pleased to present a discussion on the New Jersey Protection Against Climate Threat (PACT)/Resilient Environments and Landscape (REAL) Rules as the latest in a series of free virtual workshops NJAC will host in 2024 on a variety of topics that affect county governments across the State.  In this session, Cape May County officials will provide a comprehensive overview of the sweeping rule proposal and its significant impact on new development, redevelopment, and the renovation of existing development.  The session will also make recommendations on how the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and State leaders should consider a more moderate regulatory approach that actively engages stakeholders at the local and federal levels along with the business community and residents.
