The NJ Recovery Advocates (NJRA) and County of Bergen have joined efforts in hosting the 1st Annual Ride into Recovery Motorcycle Poker Run and Picnic. The fundraiser takes place on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. Riders will register and begin the run at Overpeck Park located at 40 Fort Lee Road in Leonia. The ride will end at VanSaun Park located at 216 Forest Avenue in Paramus. The picnic will take place at VanSaun Park.
The entry fee is $35.00 for a single rider and $10.00 for a passenger. Included in the entry fee are the poker run, picnic and prizes for the top 5 hands. The cost to attend only the picnic is $15.00. Refreshments including coffee, bagels, donuts and water will be offered to riders and passengers at Overpeck Park for the start of the run. There will be all you can eat burgers, hot dogs, salads, and soft drinks served at the picnic along with live music. Click here to register.
It is being requested that no club colors be worn.
The net proceeds will benefit the NJRA and Bergen County Substance Abuse Scholarship Fund. The NJRA and County of Bergen are committed to raising awareness, breaking down stigma, and helping those suffering from substance use disorders to find the treatment they need. In conjunction with our treatment partners, we are working together to help place those Bergen County residents who otherwise could not afford treatment.
