Bergen County Executive Tedesco to Keynote 1st Annual Bergen Business Expo

tedesco_headshotThe office of the Bergen County Executive, James Tedesco III, in collaboration with the Meadowlands Regional Chamber, will host the First Annual Bergen Business Expo on Wednesday, June 10th, offering businesses throughout the county an opportunity to hear from keynote speaker, new Bergen County Executive James Tedesco III, about his vision for assisting business development in Bergen County.

The Bergen Business Expo will take place at the Original Meadowlands Racetrack from 12:30 – 5:30 p.m.  The event will attract 230 exhibitors and more than 1,200 attendees, and will connect the business community to valuable information related to economic development and county services, provide a visibility mechanism to promote the region and facilitate B to B networking and relationship building.

The Bergen Business Expo offers many sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities, and will feature the following discussions and panels throughout the day:

12 – 12:45 p.m.:  Lunch and Keynote Speech by County Executive James Tedesco III    

The County Executive articulates his vision for business development and economic opportunities and advancements.

1:15 – 2:30p.m.:  My New Funding

Officials who grant funding, including the Bergen County Economic Development Corporation, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, large utilities and others will detail the opportunities for Bergen County businesses.  Banks and lending experts will discuss the lending environment.

3:30 – 4:45 p.m.:  My New Location

Developers, architects, brokers and franchisors will discuss location opportunities in Bergen County while real estate finance experts outline the economics required to take advantage of them.

All Expo exhibitors and attendee ticket holders are welcome to attend a bonus Warm Welcome training by the Meadowlands Regional Chamber and Bergen Community College from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., and a networking cocktail reception from 5:30 – 7 p.m.

Additionally all Chamber and Event Sponsors will receive one ticket to the Super Power Breakfast with attendees including County Executive Tedesco on Friday, May 8th.

Over the last six years the Meadowlands Regional Chamber has held an exhibit-style expo event for members and general business audiences including not-for-profit organizations who need to connect to business.
