2016 NJAC Annual Conference

Events on 18 May , 2016

The 66th NJAC Annual Conference took place at Caesar’s in Atlantic City from May 18th through May 20th, 2016 and included:

  • The nation’s only county vocational-technical school cook-off challenge.
  • An insightful reporters’ roundtable and county awards luncheon.
  • Accredited workshops approved for continuing education credits.
  • All major events and ceremonies hosted in the main exhibit hall.
  • Unique networking opportunities to share resources and ideas.

Our conference began Wednesday evening of May 18th with a Meet and Greet Reception; kicked off Thursday morning with a Board of Directors Meeting in the main exhibit hall; and, ended early Friday afternoon on May 20th with the County Vocational-Technical Schools Cook-Off Challenge.  In between, conference attendees had the opportunity to network with county and business leaders from across the State, participated in a spirited panel discussion with journalists who reported on New Jersey news and politics, and earned valuable professional development credits at our informative and educational workshops.  Several of our county affiliates such as the New Jersey Association of County Administrators and Managers, New Jersey Association of Counties’ Public Information Officers, New Jersey Association of County Finance Officers, County Welfare Directors’ Association of New Jersey, and New Jersey County Jail Wardens Association held regular meetings during our conference.
